Once you have let your snake settle in for a week, you may offer it food. All our snakes have eaten at least three consecutive times before coming to you. You also will receive the complete feeding history of your pet. All of our snakes eat frozen thawed mice once a week, except for adult males which only are offered food every other week.

It is important that you continue feeding your snake frozen thawed mice, or prekilled mice, as live rodents pose serious danger to your pet. There is nothing "natural" about feeding a captive snake a live mouse, as neither of them can get away from the other.

You may feed your snake either in the deli cup it arrived in, or inside of its cage. This is entirely a personal choice. Many choose to feed outside of the cage as it gives them a chance to clean the cage while the snake is eating.

Do not handle your pet for at least 48 hours after it has eaten.
